The RL-100/2S is a dual slope laser and features up to 25% grade range and up to 800 meter operating range - ideal for machine control. Its all-electronic operation makes setup easy and its high-contrast bright display makes entering grade quick and simple. The rechargeable battery pack provides up to 50 hours of operation; it also accepts alkaline batteries. This laser includes the new Topcon LS-80A laser sensor featuring 13 channels of grade information, plus laser HI and low battery alert. The RL-100/S2 also includes full remote control operation — check operation status, change grades, verify battery life — from up to 300m away. The illuminated menu display shows:
- Masking electronic shutters up to three quadrants to avoid interference with other lasers on the jobsite.
- Selectable rotation speed: 300, 600 or 900 rpm.

- Sensitivity selector, for strong winds or calm conditions
- Hi-alert: indicates when the laser has been disturbed preventing inaccuracies
- Hi-alert tot sensor-turn HI signal to sensor On or Off.

Remote control for the RL-100/2S
The RL-100 2S comes standard with a fully functional RC-400 radio remote. When the RL-100 2S is operating, the RC-400 displays all operating information up to 300m away. The RC-400 features a large, backlit high contrast graphical display. Change grade, select menu settings, check operational status, even verify battery lifer. All without touching the laser.
